Q: What do you think is the most challenging part about working in Taiwan?

A: Most people in Taiwan have less understanding about

lighting design. Lighitng is considered as part of

the interior design and people may not be able to

sense and tell what good lighting is,

so it results in an unpleasant environment.

We take this challenge as an opportunity to

enhance the lighting environment in Taiwan.

We hope we can help people to learn more about lighting and have

lighting and havebetter living quality

through our profession in lighting design.

Q: What is your next step?

A: To put this vision into practice,

our team will work on more projects and

collaborate with local designers, architects, and manufacturers.

We would like to bring our experience

from Japan to Taiwan and we believe that people

will gradually be able to tell the difference

between space with lighting design and without lighting design.

💡最近ワークテクト台湾が成立した。

オフィスの立ち上げについて、

代表のSeanと簡単な会話で考えを伺った。

 

Q：台湾で仕事する時、一番大きい挑戦がなんでしょう？

A：台湾では、また照明デザインに対する

認識が足りない。よく照明はインテリアの

一部に思われる。良い照明デザインの

考えはまだ成熟してなく、どこまで空間に

影響がでることもわからない。

台湾で照明デザインを普及させたく、

オフィス立ち上げたことを

チャンスだと思う。台湾に照明デザインを紹介して、

もっと質がいい生活をワークテクトの

照明デザインで作っていこうつもり。

Q：次のステップはなんでしょう？

A：上述のヴィジョンを実現するために、

できるだけ現地のデザイナー、

建築家とメーカーと色々なプロジェクトしながら、

コラボしていきたい。台湾に日本で

積もってきた経験をシェーアしていくと、

少しつづで人々は良い照明デザインのことを感じてくるだろう。

這次我們請到了台灣代表的Sean來

跟我們聊聊有關他對台灣分公司成立的一些看法.

 

 

Q: 在台灣工作, 對你來說最大的挑戰是什麼？

A: 目前照明設計並非十分普及,

因此大部份的人並不是相當了解.

照明仍被認為是室內設計的一部分,

人們還沒有建立起有關照明設計好壞的觀念,

便無法判斷照明對空間舒適度的影響.

藉著成立辦公室的機會來試圖建立方式

改變台灣之於照明設計的環境.

希望能透過Worktecht專業實績來為大家

釐清照明設計的概念,以期達到更佳的生活品質.

Q: 請問你的下一步是什麼呢？

A: 為了達到上述的理念, 我們的團隊希望

能和台灣當地的設計師, 建築師還有廠商

多多合作.希望能將自身在日本累積的經驗

帶到台灣與大家分享. 相信台灣的大眾

也會漸漸的感到經過燈光設計的空間與沒有的差異.
