Ms. Yamato has completed her 3-week internship
at Worktecht. Today she delivered her
final presentation of a park lighting design to us.
Her proposal to the Arisugawa park in Hiro is creating a
a relaxed entertaining place for city people to escape.
She thinks that the current park is too dark and
it has potential to become a place with vibes
for the photogenic young generation to enjoy.
The narrative is appealing and her presentation
shows that she is able to well- organize her idea and
holds fundamental knowledge of lighting design.

After the presentation, Mr. Atsushi gave Ms. Yamato
comments about thinking lighting design.
They discussed the reason of current darkness
is due to surrounding groups of high-class residents.
These people prefer a serene and calm place
instead of a popular tourists’ spot.
Lighting design is more than aesthetic and popularity;
there are many factors that could affect our design
and it is important to think deeper behind
the phenomenon and widen our understanding
by cross-disciplinary learning.

今天是大和小姐實習的最後一天.
她為大家發表了關於某公園的照明設計理念,
於此做為這次實習的一個段落.
她對於未在廣尾車站附近的有栖川公園做了一個提案,
主要內容是想提供一個舒適並具有娛樂效果的
室外空間給繁忙的都市人跳脫實際生活的契機.
她認為目前的公園入夜後過於昏暗, 因此是個具有潛力
用照明設計來將它改造成為時下流行的打卡點基地,
來吸引更多的年輕人.
由她發表的內容可以看出她有能力可以將自己的想法
呈現的非常有條理, 也可以知道她已經具有對
照明的基本認知. 大和小姐, 辛苦了!
發表結束之後, 金田先生給了她許多有關照明設計的建議.
大家討論到有關公園昏暗的真正原因,
是因為周遭的住戶並不希望在這樣高級的區域中,
增添過多不必要的裝飾. 高階層的住們們
所訴求的是安靜解壓的環境,
而非受到廣大民眾喜愛的人造觀光景點.
對於一個案件, 可以影響設計的因素,
非常的多, 於是設計師必須考慮到的
不僅僅是表面上的問題,
而是得多方面的從不同的角度來思考.
多方廣為閱讀以增廣自己的知識與實力,
對設計師而言也是非常重要的課題.

大和さん3週間のインターンが今日で最終日になった。
最後に公園の照明デザイン計画を皆の前でプレゼンした。
彼女は広尾にある有栖川公園に対して、
新しい照明計画をアプローチした。
提案の内容は、暗い公園を忙しい都会人が現実から
逃げれるリラックスできる場所に改造したい。
フォトジェニックのスポットをデザインして、
若い人を呼び込む。
プレゼンの内容から、
彼女は色々なリサーチしていたことを解るし、
照明デザインに対する基本も把握できたと思う。

プレゼンが終わった後、
金田さんからアドバイスをもらった。
有栖川公園は夜にあまりライトがついていない、
本当の理由は周囲の住民達の希望だそうだ。
有名な高級住宅区でもあり、
求められているのは賑やかな観光地ではなく、
落ち着いている雰囲気。
照明を考えている時、表面的なことより、
意味も考えないといけないような気がする。
なるべく様々な知識を本で読んだり、
積もっていく必要がある。
